In the Telecom Administrator role you will be responsible to oversee consultants and contractors for design and development of the commercial network. Use your technical skills to perform detailed network analysis, design and multi-protocol configuration and troubleshooting. Install and configure network routers, firewalls and switches, and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity problems. Management of the corporate network includes network stability and performance.
The ideal candidate will have three years of experience supporting medium to large sized networks, including working with Cisco and LAN/WAN hardware. Solid understanding of firewall concepts, network architecture, and proxy protocols is a must. Working knowledge of HTTP, FT, DNS, Radius, subnetting, SNMP, and mail routing is required. You must also have strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Requires excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required, or the equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
