Optimum Networking Inc., leaders in the design, installation and support of business IT systems seeks a Systems Support Engineer for immediate hire. Candidates must be detail oriented and self-motivated. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive hands-on computer networking and systems support experience is required. Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare certifications desired with experience in the following areas:
Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008
Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, 2003, and 2007
Microsoft XP and Windows 7 Operating Systems
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Office
DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, PPTP
RDP and other web collaboration tools
Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec
Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition
VMWare Server
Citrix Remote Access Suite
Mac experience
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism are imperative due to significant amounts of direct customer interaction. The salary offered will be commensurate with experience.
