We are looking for a Systems Engineer Apprentice to join our team. You will work with experienced engineers for a mix of customers doing a variety of tasks. This position is a full time position working with clients primarily in the Denver Tech Center. As a paid apprentice/intern, you will be expected to invest the next two years learning both the technical and professional skills required to be a Systems Engineer. Candidates without substantial technical experience will not be considered.
Requirements:
* High school diploma
* TCP/IP Networking fundamentals
* Experience configuring routers
* Experience installing and configuring Windows 7
* Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Outlook for Exchange and POP mailboxes
* Experience with various backup software and hardware
* Experience troubleshooting and replacing PC hardware
* Experience with anti-virus and anti-spyware tools
* Experience troubleshooting windows configuration problems on XP, Vista, and 7
* Aptitude and motivation to learn advanced networking, including Exchange, Active Directory, and server virtualization
* Team worker
* High degree of professionalism in appearance, conduct, and manner
* Excellent English communication skills
* Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
Also helpful:
* Microsoft or Cisco certification(s)
* Linux configuration experience
Pay: $10 per hour.
This job is based in the Denver Tech Center 8-5 M-F. Please don’t inquire if you’re not willing to make the commute.
