Marchon Partners is seeking both Systems Analysts and Business Analysts for a large Financial Services client in Downtown Boston. These are 6mth+ contracts (potential for perm. opportunity). This dept. supports a wide variety of applications including Oracle Financial, Hyperion Financial Reporting/Planning, Ariba, Web Tools, Payroll, Essbase, Datawarehouse, etc. and the project would be an implementation of a new e-procurement systems. The client is in the earliest stages so any experience in procurement is a huge plus.
Business/System Analyst skills required:
-The candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills and be very team-oriented.
-They must also have experience with software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
-5+ years programming/business systems analyst experience required.
-Hands on Requirements Definition, set up, production support
-Ability to write ad hoc queries
-Ability to do Workflow Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, and Wireframes
-At least 5 years experience with Oracle Financial applications (modules including AP, GL, AR, FA, GIS, Webmoney) to version 11.5 and/or 12
-Any Hyperion Essbase exp. is a huge plus
-Has been responsible for implementations and upgrades for multiple modules with a focus on the financial modules.
-Any Business knowledge/prior experience with procurement, Ariba Spend Management Suite (Ariba Buyer, Analysis and Contract Workbench) would be a plus.
