As a Senior Systems Analyst:
The Sr. Systems Analyst will be the functional expert for the Shipboard Applications with the primary objectives of Operational Excellence, Business Hosting, and On Call Support.
This person will work directly with management and users to gather requirements, review system and application capabilities, as well as improve business processes and recommend and set-up the best solutions in Fidelio.
Will be responsible for documenting technical specifications and HALs specific use of the system as well as document all system interfaces.
Participate on a project team assisting with managing the schedule to insure that the project is on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent IT and business operations experience
Strong understanding of Holland America Line products, operations, structure and systems
Experience related to payroll, resource planning, and human resources
Shipboard experience, particularly as a Purser, Human Resources, or similar role.
Previous experience participating in all phases of a project
Proven ability to document detailed meeting minutes, functional specifications, technical and user documentation
Proven ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to coordinate and monitor testing and quality assurance functions through post implementation
Strong understanding of cruise line industry and related products, operations, structure and systems
Working knowledge of MS Project
Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
Willingness to travel
Shipboard experience a plus
Some programming skills such as SQL, a plus
Oracle and SQL Server Database knowledge with Windows and Unix platforms strongly desired.
Experience with report writing (e.g. Crystal Reports) a must
