Essential Functions
Will lead the development of new network architectures, applications, and security features for Sypris products.
Job Requirements :
An ACTIVE (Current or within past 2 years) U.S. Granted Secret Security Clearance
BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
10+ years experience in developing enterprise network systems
Focus on development of IP network architecture and the requirements/features of the IP network devices that are part of the enterprise system
Strong practical knowledge of IP network security vulnerabilities
Experience in network protocols and management tools (TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP, IPSec, SNMP)
Network application software development
Network modeling, development, testing, and performance optimization
New product development experience
Innovative thinker ready to push the state of the art
Good personal communications with customers and engineering staff
Strong leadership ability
Desired:
Active TS clearance
MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Experience with Department of Defense Global Information Grid (GIG) and net-centric systems
Experience developing applications for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
Experience with Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
Familiar with Information Assurance (IA) policies and procedures
Strong interest in emerging distributed computing technologies such as Cloud Computing
