California Cancer Care, a leading oncology practice, has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator at its San Mateo facility. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years full time, primary responsibility for managing a complex, secure, high availability Windows centric network.
REQUIREMENTS
MCSE 2003 or equivalent knowledge is required including best practices, group policy use, Exchange 2003, and support of SQL 2000. Infrastructure knowledge of subnets, routing, VLANs, firewalls, ACLs, WiFi, and VPNs in a Cisco environment is required. Experience with medical practices including Electronic Medical Records systems is beneficial.
The successful candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to function as a key team member. Compensation commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Network Administrator is responsible for supporting all technology needs of the firm including installation, maintenance, support, and documentation of all hardware and software. Configuration and management of all servers, workstations, printers, and peripherals , end user support, and vendor management is required. Also responsible for maintaining the highest level of security including password best practices, AntiVirus/AntiSpyware/Security patch updates, monitoring of logs, and data backups.
