ITT Visual Information Solutions is a leader in software solutions that create exceptional value for medical, remote sensing and scientific customers in government, commercial, research and development, and academic communities.

We have an immediate need for an experienced network administrator to install, maintain and monitor the operation of our local and wide area networks. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to corporate security policies; performing troubleshooting, diagnosis and repairs for network hardware- and software-related problems; and recommending upgrades, patches, equipment and architectural solutions consistent with the organization’s short- and long-term objectives.

Qualified candidates must have a strong team mindset and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Work with a talented team while providing support and guidance to end users. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to customer and systems needs.

Required minimum skills and qualifications:

* U.S. Citizenship required for this position
* CCNA or greater Cisco certification required
* Proven work experience with Cisco routers, switches, PIX/ASA firewalls, EIGRP and BGP; WAN administration; point to point, and remote user VPN management
* Strong TCP/IP, DNS/BIND, SMTP, DHCP and SNMP skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Commitment to customer service and teamwork
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
* Windows/Linux/Solaris/Exchange/VMWare experience a plus
