CCNP 3-5 years progressive work experience
Demonstrated Knowledge of SIP and H.323.
Working knowledge of IP routing protocols (IGP, EGP & OSPF ), IP subnetting, and ability to design and deploy IP solutions.
Thorough knowledge of IP Telephony, Voice over IP (VOIP), and IP Video Teleconferencing. Must possess the
ability to support and merge multi-vendor solutions.
Thorough understanding of Cisco and Juniper Routers and Switches.
Familiarization with VPN/IPSec technologies and firewalls.
> Working knowledge of telecommunications transmissions;
> i.e. OS-X, OC-X, MPLS, DIA, ISDN etc.
Good deductive reasoning skills including the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to come up with
logical answers involving deciding if an answer makes sense
Excellent communication skills to professionally and effectively deal with customer issues.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks under time constraints.

Assist in administering and maintaining all production and other mission critical technology resources
Implement hardware and software upgrades, system integrations, vendor-based solutions, and other datacenter optimizations
Update network documentation after replacing or installing new equipment
Installation and Maintenance of network cable plant
Monitor and resolve assigned customer trouble tickets and provide third-level application / engineering support in a timely fashion
Maintain relevant and current knowledge within assigned technical fields
Communicate and interact with the team members to ensure coordination and cross-training
Recommend new processes, procedures, equipment, and software
Perform research and develop documentation for support and educational purposes

Associates Degree in a related field
