At ITT in Norwood, we are looking for adjunct faculty in computer science to teach one or more of the the following courses:
Operating systems, computer networks, Unix and linux, Microsoft operating systems (Server 2003), Active directory, databases (microsoft), Cisco networking, cabling and fiber optics, MCSE courses, CCNA courses, Linux Fedora, security and more.
We have a flexible schedule: Our morning courses start at: 7:30AM to 12:00PM and our evening courses are from 6:00PM to 10:30 PM. We also offer Saturday classes. Our quarter is only 10 weeks long and we have the syllabus, book and ppt slide ready for you so we minimize the prep time for our instructors. Our classes meet only once per week and our quarter is only 10 weeks long.
We pay $32 per hour. For each course you will have to teach 50 hours. For each course you teach, you will be eligible for $200 bonus. No need for office hours and you will get paid for tutoring $15/hour.
Requirements: BS degree in computer science or related field from an accredited University (MS or PHD preferred) with a minimum of 15 credit hours in the field of computer science and engineering. Additional skills: CCNA, MCSE are required for some courses.
Candidates must provide us with official transcripts and must pass background check prior to employment. Candidates will give 15 minute demo lecture about the topic they select.
