Responsible for HSN and HSN.com network and security administration. Leads staff in developing and management of the corporate network infrastructure, HSN security program and related audit compliance policy management.
Responsibilities:
Provides leadership, staff development, performance feedback, and compensation management.
Leads a cross-functional team to achieve network and security objectives.
Maintains voice and network cabling media, switches, routers and hubs, inter-campus communications systems, and off-campus connections, including our links to the Internet.
Oversees the creation and maintenance of the HSN security policy, leads security risk assessment efforts, and owns the company awareness and training program.
Plans and maintains an annual capital and expense budgets, and fully understands the procurement process.
Provides guidance regarding prioritization of infrastructure investments that impact HSN.
Advises the organization on risk issues that are related to information security and recommending actions in support of HSN’s wider risk management program.
Advises and collaborates with the HSN business units in business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and audits and governmental compliance practices.
Acts as the primary control point during significant information security incidents by overseeing security breach investigations.
Leads in developing, publishing, and maintaining comprehensive company-wide information privacy and security strategy, plan, policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Maintains a security awareness program.
Works with Compliance, Internal Audit and outside consultants as appropriate on required audits.
Defines network operations practices, standards, measurements through metrics reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
5 years experience managing professional/specialist’s staff and experience in a security related leadership or management capacity.
5 years of progressive experience in data, WAN and Internet system environment.
5 years of experience demonstrating in IT security.
5-10 years total business experience.
Experience in the management of equipment installation, fault isolation/resolution, and project management in a WAN/LAN environment. Knowledge of WAN/LAN hardware and their operating environments. Ability to execute an implementation plan for a medium sized data center facility.
Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery and internal auditing.
Project management and communication skills plus experience communicating technical issues to non-technical business partners and executive management.
Security conscious individual who understands the technology to be secured. Working knowledge of security principles (such as authentication, auditing, forensic investigation, risk management) and elements (encryption, logging, monitoring, perimeter controls, firewalls).
Knowledge of cabling infrastructure on a universal cabling systems supporting copper and fiber desired.
